Design
The exterior of the Airmac is all aluminum, providing the feel of all macbook air models since 2010. The measurement of the Macbook Air (11-inch) is 7.5 long x 11.80 wide, the thickness is between 0.68 from back till 0.11 inches at front.The weight of this laptop makes it one of the most convenient laptops for traveling, it has a weight of 2.38 pounds though it is a little heavier than last year’s model (difference of 0.07 pounds).It is lighter and smaller than ultraportables available in the market.
Ports
Though the ports are unchanged and remain the same as last year’s Macbook Air.The right side has a USB 3.0 port, and a thunderbolt 2 port. On the left side, it has two microphones, a USB 3.0 port, a MagSafe 2 power jack, and a headset jack.Though other ultraportables have more connectivity options in ports because of their larger side panels. The wireless connectivity comes up with integrated bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi.If we take a overall look of the specifications of the airmac then connectivity options is not an issue.
Keyboard & Trackpad
It has a full size keyboard with almost 78 to 79 keys, including four arrow keys, and 12 functional keys. The keyboard provides an exceptional feel and the keys come with backlit.The trackpad is all glass-covered supporting smooth multi-touch gestures like pinch, rotate, swipe, and many more. Though the trackpad doesn't support the Force-Click option.
Display
The Macbook Air (2015) has an 11.6 inches LED glossy widescreen display with support for unlimited colors.The resolution supported by the Air 2015 is 1366 x 786 at an aspect ratio of 16:9, which is the biggest drawback of the 11-inch MacBook. Its display looks confined when compared to the Retina display of other Macbooks or any other windows supported laptops with 1080p resolution. However, this type of screen resolution is mainly found in ultraportable laptops on the market.
Storage & Memory
Apple has introduced Macbook Air (11-inch) in two storage options, 128 GB and 256 GB. The 128GB is considered the base storage provided in the MacBook (2015) but is upgradeable to 256GB depending on your usage and storage preference.Apple uses PCle-based flash storage, which has greater flexibility and higher potential bandwidth than PCI-based flash storage.The system comes up with a 4GB memory speed of 1600 MHz. It can efficiently perform multitasking on MacOs-X, but you will need to upgrade it if you prefer to open multiple windows while working but it depends on your work load.It is only upgradeable to 8GB LPDDR3 RAM if ordered directly from the Apple store.

It is integrated with an Intel HD Graphics 6000, supported by a dual-channel memory configuration.Overall, the performance is suitable for a daily tasking laptop and you can upgrade it according to your needs.
Battery Life
